Meanwhile durin the wait...
Wednesday, June 08, 2005 This post will be a continuation of my previous entry on "teddy". Don't be suprised or so, yes, he's not here yet.. as expected.. grrr.. damn those postmens.. cant you just skip your footy tv session for a weekend and send my baby to me? Apparently they mentioned in the post that, it will be delivered within 7 working days... Arghh!! Anyway, enough of ramblings, i m not goin to complain or curse more on this post. Instead, i m goin to promote my this future buddy a lil bit more and to clarify up a few matters. After posting up my previous entry, i received a few comments on my choice of camera, and right here, i m not tryin to offend anyone or even defend myself.. As when i read back my own post.. i realized that.. i didnt include much technical explaniation on my selection, so that's crucial.. to the point that i dont want anyone to hav any bad impression on KonicaMinolta's bad pricing becoz of my lack of clarification. (actually their RRP is indeed abit steep.. but oh well.. i somehow gotten it cheap.. so who cares?) Comments such as, 1)"with the same amount of money you could get a smaller camera with higher megapixels and in a more fashionable sense of casing." 2) "Don't you think it's abit too big? As currently trend in technology is to squeeze everything into as tiny as possible" (except for TV). 3) "i heard that KonicaMinolta's camera are very sensitive and it's not easy to repair once it;s broken down." 4) "It's a camera that uses alkaline batteries still, and as compared to lithium batteries that you could recharge straight away, dont you think that's a downside to its wonderful specification?" Honestly, i m glad that i received such comments (both in public and privately). I really do, because it showed me your concerns about me being conned or deceived by the flashy cover-ups and pakacging that made up by KonicaMinolta and e-bay. Nonetheless... by knowing the fact that i could be abit anal retentive and skeptical when comes to materials that i aint so familiar with yet passionnate for.. i actually calculated all the pros and cons and i came up with the final conclusion that.. yes, Teddy is worthwhile buying for that price.. definitely.. So, now, allow me to ellaborate and discuss on the raised comments on my "teddy". In notion to the first comment, Dimage Z3 (Teddy's official name) might not be as 'handy', when you talkin about its physical appearance that will match or fit directly to just a single palm size, but, with its excellent functions, the size of a real crafty wizard could be neglected. It is true that with the same amount of money you could afford a camera with 5.0megapixels or even more, however with a total zoom of 48x that teddy could offer, you neednt a topclass soya sauce in order to bring up the delicious taste of a high grade salmon. What i am tryin to say is, it's more than enough for teddy just to have a well that could produce high minerals water, so the initial capacity in the well wouldnt be a big matter to its quality. Additionally, with the function of switching it to manual focus and manual light exposure.. you could achieve images that exceed a quality of 4.0mps by sight. For the second comment.. i would like to ellaborate abit more though i touched on abit on the above statements. It is relatively true that everything technological except for some special cases such as TV, Trucks, and rockets (where the bigger the better), every other thing seems to strive their way to reach the goal of becoming the "tiniest", "slimiest", "smallest", etc... I wonder why.. when most females work on a totally opposite direction regarding a specific organs of theirs... Honestly.. i dont really see the point of some of the objects to be smaller.. k, say camera and some mobile phones.. dont you think it's bit hard to press and sms when you are holding a tiny ass phone that could possibly stuff into your backside tunnel if you happen to keep some drugs inside your handphone case, and for camera, when it's so small.. it affects your finger ability to co-ordinate with the whole snapping progress.. and since it is small.. a lil shake meant alot to the result of the picture.. furthermore with the sharp ass 5.0mps + resolution.. that's y all your digital photos need to be photoshopped before u post up ler.. Ok, now for the 3rd comment, yes it is indeed sensitive, in the sense of the lens (Minolta produces worldclass quality lenses and focus tubes). Since teddy came with a fine-tuned anti-shaked and pre-prediction balancer it will be even more sensitive yet stable in snapping quick shots. Yes, i do agree that Minolta's parts are abit harder to reach than the rest.. like nikon, kodak, sony, etc.. and it might be abit prone to injury according to rumors.. however, after a certain amount of research i seek on, no, it isnt that bad for my teddy.. the rest of the fancy line cameras might be.. but not teddy Lastly, i think this comment is worthwhile for 2 propz.. yes i totally agree with that mostly. It is true that with a lithium base battery you could save more and it might.. last longer (if your camera supports only 2 AA or 4 AAA batteries). However, with the design of 4 AA batteries, it shud b quite durable provided that you need to cough up abit initially for 4 rechargeable AA batteries ler.. that.. i cannot do anything more for it lor.. With those.. i conclude my defending statement for the accused offendant.. Mr.Teddy Dimage Z3 Tan. For the outcome of the trial, we shall proceed to after the break for further solocication and waiting for the sentencing. Till then.. buhbye...!! leaving skool f-r3d at 9:40 PM 0 pokies {WTFPWNKTHXBYE} |
